Saturday 5/20

  • Help us celebrate a big anniversary of one of the first bike-lending library programs in the country! First, attend a presentation about everything (almost) you’ve been wondering about e-bikes from 10-11am. Hear from longtime cycling industry and electric micro-mobility leader Matt Irish, with a Q&A session to follow. Next, enjoy refreshments and speeches as the Athens Public Library unveils the addition of e-bikes to their Book-a-Bike collection at 11:15. Hosted by E-Bike enthusiast Danny Irish, Madison Donohue (Appalachian Understories), and John Lefelhocz (Cycle Path), an all-ages and all-abilities group ride will immediately follow the ribbon cutting ceremony. Our group will ride along the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway to the Eclipse Company Store (approx. 7 mi. one way).  10am
  • Farmer’s Market 9am-1pm, Athens Community Center
  • Learn the basics of archery at the archery range located on the park road to the campground, near the horse camp. All equipment provided. For adults and children ages 6 and above. In order to participate, must be on-site at 10 a.m, Burr Oak

    Ohio Valley School of Celtic Dance and Culture in The Plains. Our show “Happiness is…” is a free event on May 20th at the Athens High School Auditorium at 1 PM and 3 PM
