  • Help our local libraries celebrate the anniversary of one of the first bike-lending library programs in the country with special events this month. Join Athens County All Bike, The Athens Bicycle Club, and the Athens City County Health Department for a few hours of bike repair, bike safety tips, and a giveaway of a few bikes, bike parts, and accessories. Open to all bike riders and enthusiasts, with a special invite to teens. 3pm-5pm, Glouster Library

  • Forest Bathing Walk (We’ll take a walk in the forest at a slow, intentional pace with trained forest therapy guide Nicole Kennedy. During the walk, Nicole will share a series of sensory invitations, offer opportunities for group sharing (only if you are comfortable), and close with a tea made from local plants. Meet at the Burr Oak State Park nature center. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes or boots. Bring drinking water.  Two-hour program.) 2pm Burr Oak State Park
