I love this content! I wonder what it would look like to evaluate local efforts – Athens Independent calendar, WOUB calendar, etc. I think crowd sourcing is a great idea and it would be so nice to have a comprehensive place for all of it!

The Athens News has a community calendar which seems similar to what you are proposing.

    Thank you!

I look forward to your event list every month. I’m definitely interested in being able to add to it because I often miss the deadline or find cool things too late. But I would be sad if you stopped putting the bulk of the list together because I think it would fall apart. The Athens News does have a calendar people can add to but their system is a pain to use and I think that’s why it’s usually kind of sparse. WOUB has one too, but you seem to get events from different people and organizations that aren’t listed there and that I otherwise wouldn’t have heard about.
